Ann Taylor Eyelet Ruffle Doubleweave Sheath Dress Pink Size 4
I'm back with a quick review post. The above utility dress is from LOFT but I have mostly Ann Taylor try-ons to share today except for two LOFT items at the end.

For size reference I'm 5′ 2.5″ and 110 pounds. I'm usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans. If you're new to my blog I typically share the link to a short video clip below each image (the same video clips I share in my Instagram stories swipe ups during sales). My Pinterest is also up to date if you prefer a more visual catalog of my reviews. You can also check out my other reviews organized by retailer here.
Ann Taylor Scalloped Shell, size XSP (review here) | Similar jeans here and here | Ann Taylor Lanie Colorblock Leather Slingback Pump (true to size, review here)
I paired this scalloped top with this c/o bi-stretch modern blazer (as seen here) for work yesterday.
Ann Taylor Tie Sleeve Denim Jacket, size XSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I was curious about this new white denim jacket and the ties on the sleeves are a cute detail. It runs a bit small through the shoulders and the sleeves are a bit snug on me in my usual size. You may want to size up for a more comfortable, relaxed fit. Size XSP fits more like size XXSP. I like the cropped length in petites. I already got a white denim jacket recently as shared in this post and that one is much softer. My LOFT card bill this month is crazy so I'm trying to talk myself out of getting yet another jacket. Update 5/24: I caved and ended up getting this jacket on sale in size SP which fits like my usual size XSP.
I also tried on this performance stretch denim jacket in size XXSP here and in XSP here since I received a request to try it on last night (review and measurements in this post but I only took those video clips I linked to).
Ann Taylor Doubleweave Flutter Sleeve Sheath Dress, size 0P | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
If you like this dress it's also available as a top in my review further below. The dress is a thicker material with a nice body skimming fit and I love the fun cascading ruffle detail and pretty periwinkle color. My usual size fit me well and it be a nice dress to wear to a special event. Size 0P has a 28″ waist and it's 34.5″ total length.
Ann Taylor The Striped Marina Skirt, size 2P | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I wanted this skirt when I spotted it online but I originally ordered my usual size 0P and it wouldn't even zip up on me since it has a 26″ waistband (17.75″ length) while I have a 29″ natural waist. Size 2P has a 27″ waistband and 18.25″ total length so I was able to zip it up but it was still snug since the material has no give. However, the rest of the skirt is too wide through the hips by sizing up. I had to pass since I don't have the curves to fill out the skirt so it just looks bell shaped on me. It has functional pockets which you have to free since they're sewn shut. If you like this style it's also available in a solid olive khaki color here.
Ann Taylor Pleated Top, size XXS regular | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This pleated top is so gorgeous and flowy and I ordered it in the white color after trying on the Kelly green color. It's fully lined so not see through and I hope that the white color isn't see through either. Update: I received the white top today (talk about the fast shipping via
) and I'm happy to report that it isn't see through.Ann Taylor Pleated Top, size XXS regular | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
Ann Taylor Gingham Cuffed Boatneck Top, size XSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This gingham top is really cute and it's a similar style as this c/o stripe cuffed blouse I have (as seen here). The sleeves are a bit shorter and snug at the cuffs since I couldn't easily secure the last/third button on the cuffs closet to my forearm. I would probably prefer this top in the missy size for extra length.
Ann Taylor Asymmetric Ruffle Top, size 00 regular | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I love the ruffles on this top and it's a thicker material so it's not see through. I wanted it in white but my size sold out so I ordered this pretty periwinkle blue color. Size 00 regular is 22.75″ total length which makes it a petite friendly length since I usually prefer 23-24″ tops. Update: I noticed that it popped back in white in my size so I ordered that color as well. I'm going to try to decide which color I like best so that I don't end up with two of the same top.
Ann Taylor Eyelet Peplum Tee, size XS regular | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This white tee is so cute but it runs small so I would suggest going up a size for comfort. I ordered this tee in two sizes to try and XXS regular was so snug. Size XS regular fits more like my usual size XS petite especially the length which was 22.5″. It's slightly sheer so I didn't like how it looked from the back since you can see the lace detail of the back of my bra. The eyelet detail on the peplum flounce is a sweet feminine touch.
Ann Taylor Chiffon Tie Waist Flutter Top, size XSP | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I ordered this chiffon top in the periwinkle color and black. I am only keeping the black color since the periwinkle color is sheer despite being lightly lined so I could make out the outline of my nude bra. I like the thin ribbon tie for some waist definition.
Ann Taylor Button Waist Denim Skirt, size 25/0P | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I finally found a white denim skirt that doesn't flatten my behind. This skirt has a nice stretch to it so even though size 25/0P has a 27″ waist (17.75″ total length) so it's not uncomfortably snug on my 29″ natural waist. The material isn't too sheer with nude undergarments.
LOFT Swiss Dot Wrap Waist Top, size XXSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I previously reviewed this swiss dot top in size XS petite in this haul but it was too loose all over. I found size XXS petite to try in store and it is a much better fit. Size XXS petite fits like my usual size XS petite. This top also looks cute unbelted and styled with a blazer as seen in this post.
LOFT Floral Ruffle Flounce Dress, size 0P | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This bright yellow floral dress is a flattering fit on my torso in my usual size. Usually dresses with an elastic waistband hit at a weird place resulting in excess material that adds bulk on the sides above waist– but not this dress! The top also has a hidden snap button for modesty. I wasn't sure how much I would reach for such a bold floral print so I didn't get it but I really love the fit. I hope they'll offer this style in other colors and prints that are more my style.
